I rarely drink smoothies but when I do, I love to add kale in the smoothie. Not only is kale healthy, but its almost tasteless in a smoothie. I made this Kale & Berry smoothie this morning as I wanted something quick to drink before I went for a brisk walk in the sun! This morning’s sun has me convinced that spring is literally around the corner! Move away cold winters and hot breakfasts. Time for sunny spring mornings and delicious cool breakfast smoothies!
This smoothies is great for breakfast. For an extra boost, add half a cup of rolled oats to it and some chia or flax seeds!
- 1 & 1/2 cup Mixed Berries
- 1 cup Greek Yoghurt
- 1 cup Kale
- 1 cup Coconut Water
- 1 tablespoon Honey Optional
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour in a glass and enjoy.
To adjust consistency add or reduce coconut water.
