Description
Extra sticky and sweet, these Apricot Chicken Wings explode with a moreish taste. Done in 20 minutes in the air fryer, these are a favourite for children and adults alike.

- 1 kg – Chicken Wings
- 1 cup – Apricot Conserve
- 1 teaspoon – Smoked Paprika
- 1 teaspoon – Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon – Chilli Flakes
- 2 tablespoon – Brown Sugar
- 1 teaspoon – Dijon Mustard
- 1 teaspoon – Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons – Worcester Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon – Ground Ginger
- A pinch to taste – Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon – Black Pepper (freshly cracked)
Instructions
- After washing your chicken wings, place them in a bowl and sprinkle salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, add apricot conserve, minced garlic, garlic powder, chilli flakes, brown sugar, dijon mustard, soy sauce, Worcester sauce, and ground ginger. Mix until smooth.
- Pour ¾ of the apricot mixture in the chicken wings. Toss until the wings are well coated in the sauce.
- Place chicken wings in the air frying basket. Be sure to space them evenly.
- Air fry at 195°C for 8 minutes per side or a total of 16 minutes or until chicken wings are crisp and golden brown on the outside.
Notes
- Allow the chicken to reach an internal temperature of 75 °C before serving.
- In case you increase the amount of wings, please be aware that the cook time will depend on the size of your chicken wings.
- Make sure the chicken wings are not touching to allow maximum air circulation inside the fryer.
- Cover the bottom of the frying basket with ovenproof baking paper for easier clean up.
- Spray the basket with cooking spray before adding the wings.
- Serve your chicken wings immediately or use a cooling rack so the does not end up soggy.
