Yes, I have been gone for a hot minute but I am back! I can’t believe it September already. Christmas is in exactly 111 days. Aren’t you excited? As exciting as Christmas is, I am still yearning for the sunshine.
The summer came and left like a fog. Far too quickly I say. However, just because the summer is gone doesn’t mean we still can’t have those delicious smoothie bowls for breakfast.
Today I made this lovely Banana & Berry Smoothie Bowl with milled linseed and chia seeds. In the summer I would usually have it with chilled or frozen fruit but not today. All fruit was at room temperature.
This recipe only requires 6 minutes, 1 blender and 5 minutes! What more do you want for breakfast? Quick, healthy, nutrient rich, satisfying, fruity and delicious!
Enjoy!
Much love,

I absolutely love and adore you! I am a vegan chef myself, I run my own vegan cafe in Lisbon, Portugal and you are a huge inspiration to me . I have been playing around with smoothie bowls for a while now and just wanted to ask you do you think in your opinion do the bananas need to be frozen? Or can it just be a normal banana and then frozen berries for example? I have tried both ways and I just don t want the bowl to be too frozen .. whats your opinion? Thanks again for your amazing work, much vegan love to you.
Thank you so much! Does you vegan cafe have a website? I’d love to drop by when I’m in Portugal again.
The bananas don’t need to be frozen. I freeze them because I like my smoothie bowls on the cooler side.
