  1. In a plastic container, toss the flour and beef together until the beef is well coated. Set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large deep pan. Once heated, add the ginger and garlic. Fry for a minute then stir in soy sauce, water and brown sugar. Leave to simmer on low to medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In another deep pan, heat the rest of the oil. Once hot add the beef and allow it to fry for 2-4 minutes until brown on each side. Remove from oil and place on a paper towel in order for it to absorb any excess oil.
  4. Place beef in the sauce and let it simmer for 3-6 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  5. Serve with steamed white rice or stir fried noodles. Garnish with the spring onions and enjoy!
